KNOWLEGE HAIR EXTENSIONS

• How many pieces do I need?

For the average head size, here is my suggestion:

22"-28": 100 g or more.

• Can I dye color the hair?

Yes. The hair can be colored. As a general rule it is easier to darken the hair than to lighter the hair. We recommend to dye darker, not lighter since the hair extension has been processed and colored, it is difficult to fade the original color. Improper dying will ruin the hair.

We highly recommend having your hairdresser dye the extensions as you will get the results you want, coloring them yourself always poses a high risk of not coming out the shade you want. If you can’t get to a salon, always use a good quality hair dye and test a small sample first.

• Can I wash & blow-dry the hair extensions?

You can wash them as your own hair with the Shampoo and conditioner. We also suggest you use a hair treatment on them every few weeks. Because the hair is not attached to your scalp, it can not get the oils it should be. Using a treatment/hair mask is much needed to wash your extensions , about every 3 weeks.

The extensions can be blow-dryed with a strong airflow and not just a hot one.But don't do it too often. The best is to let your hair extensions dry naturally.

• Why are my hair extensions getting tangle?

Your Hair Extensions can tangle due to dryness, oil & dirt build-up, salt water, chlorine and not combing (wide tooth comb) out your hair daily.

Make sure to wash & condition your hair at least once a week, twice a week is better. Use hydrating drops or consult your stylist for more help.

• Why my hair extension shedding?

The first time you wash it, it may have a little shedding, and don’t worry, this is normal phenomenon. Brush them with a comb, wet them before you brush them, put leave in conditioner into them. So that, to prevent your hair extensions.

Hair loss can be caused by many things. Heat damage from blow-dryers, curling irons, and flatirons, as well as coloring and extensions all result in breakage.

• What type of hair care products should I use?

Treat this hair just as if it was your own hair. Use good quality shampoo and conditioning products. Conditioning your hair is very important to keep it soft and manageable, so use leave in conditioners. You can also use products like gel and hair spray to keep the curls in place, but make sure to wash your hair and not leave in these products in for a long time.

• How long does it last?

This hair can last for a very long time depending on how you maintain it. Treat it like your own hair and take very good care of it for it to last longer. Many hair extensions prefer Brazilian or Indian hair because it is beautiful and unprocessed which makes it last longer than any other kind of hair.

• How to distinguish human hair from synthetic hair?

Human hair has natural protein,it is easy to tell by burning and smelling, human hair will be ash, which will go away after pinching, human hair will smell foul when burning, the human hair will show white smoke.

Why Choose Lace Front Wigs?

Lace front wigs represent the latest technology for non-surgical hair replacement in the world today. A lace front wig when designed and constructed properly will be the closest thing to your own real hair, or can replace the hair you never had. It is the most natural, most beautiful, hair replacement system imaginable today. It is made out of real human hair and hand tied into a very sheer lace base one single hair at a time. It should look so natural that it can be virtually undetectable to anyone, even at a distance of only a few inches away. You can wear it for weeks at a time without removing it. You can comb your hair straight back, part it in the middle or even go swimming with it.

There are no limitations to your look or lifestyle. You can shower, sleep, perm, wash or do anything you would normally do. You can finally have the hair you always dreamed about!

What is a lace wig?

This creates a realistic looking hairline. The lace is trimmed to match the skin after purchase so that only a part that looks comfortable and more realistic to the client is left. When using special adhesive, the hairline is so realistic looking that it is virtually undetectable that it is not the wearer’s own growing hair. This is the wig worn by most famous women the World.

If I buy a wig can I return it if I do not like it?

YES. IF YOU DO NOT WEAR IT,

and the extra lace can not be cut off. Or Due to hygiene reasons, lace wigs cannot be resold once they have been worn and the lace has been cut.

What is RÉmy hair?

Rémy hair is a superior human hair grade that is collected from one hair donor. The cuticle layer of the hair remains in tack, therefore the hair is silky soft with a subtle wave pattern. The hair is then hand-tied to a wig in the same direction as it is on a human head. The look of the lace wig is very natural, and easy to manage with proper care.

Is it okay to get the lace wig wet while swimming?

It is ok for the lace wig to get wet; you can even go swimming with it. Before swimming, please verify that your adhesive is waterproof. Also, do not go swimming until after your application has dried for at least 8 hours. Before swimming, place the hair on the wig in a low ponytail. This will help ensure the hair does not tangle from the chlorine while swimming. After swimming, you may need to wash and condition the wig.

WARNING: Swim at your own risk as chlorine may have an adverse effect on your wig.

What color lace is best suited to my skin tone?

The color of lace depends on a lot of factors. First and foremost, the best applications are usually camouflaged by makeup at the hairline and where the hair is parted. This is truly how you get a natural appearance because even though lace blends with the skin, certain lighting conditions can show the lace.

Most women prefer to get a lace close to their skin tone, this is the best option if you don't want to experiment with using makeup(concealer) to camouflage the lace, then it's best to select a shade that blends with your skin tone. If you plan to use makeup, then you should select a shade close to, or lighter than, your own.

Our standard lace colors are:

- Transparent: suitable for most complexions

- Brown: suitable for those with medium brown complexions

- Light brown: suitable for women with light brown skin

We also offer dark brown, however, if you believe you may need a lace shade we do not normally stock, it is best to submit your photograph, with your custom order, so that our technicians can match the lace to your skin tone.

Which is better, French or Swiss lace?

It really is a matter of preference. Swiss lace is finer, and more fragile, than French lace. Swiss lace blends better with the skin for a less visible appearance. French lace is slightly thicker and more durable. Both lace types can be tinted different shades of brown to blend with a variety of complexions.

Can I wear this wig even if I have my own hair?

Yes.

You will have to make your own hair as flat as possible, by wrapping or braiding it. Then apply a flesh toned stocking cap over your natural hair to simulate your scalp color.

What is the difference between a Full Lace wig and a regular wig?

A lace wig, also called a lace "unit" or "hair system" are hair extensions that create the illusion that hair is growing out of one's scalp, and therefore is the most natural looking extensions on the market. This is achieved by the method of the lace wig contruction. A fine lace material is used as the base where individual hairs are meticulously hand tied onto the lace. The term 'full lace' denotes that the base cap is made fully of lace, while 'lace front wigs have lace in front and different materials at the back of the cap.

There are typically two types of lace materials used to make the base cap- Swiss and French lace. Swiss lace is very fine and delicate and is the most undetectable choice. Though French lace is not as undetectable(but also a suitable choice), its advantage is that it is more durable over time.

Also, unlike inferior wigs, a lace front wig can also be parted anywhere, styled in any way, or worn in a high ponytail just like your real hair. Lace Wigs are made of 100% finest quality Remy human hair. When you custom order a lace wig, it is completely custom fitted to the measurements of your head.

More recently, with the advance of thinner base materials such as lace and thin skin, low density tends to look more natural especially with the see through look along the hairlines.
